Baby’s First ABC Book – Baby Shower Activity
Planning a baby shower? Looking for a fun activity that will create lasting memories? Make baby’s first ABC book!

This is a low-pressure activity. Guests can take their time and color the pages throughout the baby shower. It can also be a great ice breaker. Cousins, grandparents, co-workers and friends will join together to create this book for the baby. Each guest can sign the page they colored. Guests can also sign their names on the back cover.
Why should you make baby’s first ABC book
- It’s easy to set up. All you need is the ABC book template and some markers or colored pencils.
- Guests don’t have to be creative. All they need to do is color the page and sign their name at the bottom. In case your guests want to be creative, use baby’s first ABC book – blank version.
- ABC book will be created by friends and family members. As such, it’s an adorable keepsake for the baby and the mommy-to-be. It is not the generic alphabet book purchased at a store.
- This is a gift that will be appreciated long after the baby shower.
- This is also a creative alternative to traditional guest book and a great way to involve everyone in celebrating the new arrival.
- ABC book is intended to be used as a baby shower activity, but it can also be used at a first birthday party or for educational purposes.
