Things to Do the Night Before the Wedding
Follow this list of things to do the night before the wedding to make sure you’ve got it all covered and that your big day is perfect!

Eat a healthy meal
Eat a good, healthy meal. Stick to the whole grains and fresh fruit. Also, drink water.
Pack a bag of personal items
Pack a small bag (clutch) with personal items. Ask a friend, family member or a bridesmaid to deliver it to the hotel where you will be staying.
Get a good night’s sleep
Turn the phone on silent. Don’t check Facebook or answer text messages. Try to get some sleep.
Make a survival kit
The kit should include safety pins, hair ties, fashion tape, band-aids, a needle with thread and mints.
Put bags and suitcases in the car
Put bags, boxes, suitcases and survival kits for the reception/ceremony in the car.
Be sure you have cash
Have several $20 bills nearby – in case you need to tip the vendors or for some last-minute emergencies.
Double-check payments
Sort out payments for vendors digitally (schedule them via PayPal or Venmo) or gather cash and checks and put them in clearly marked envelopes. Give envelopes to your point person for the wedding day.
Print a list of vendor details
Make sure to have all of the vendor info – their name, phone number, arrival time. Give this list to your point person.
Pack a pair of flip flops
Wear flip flops throughout the wedding day – after the morning photos or in the middle of the wedding reception. Stay off the heels as much as you can.
Assign someone to be the morning-after person
This person will collect the gifts at the end of the evening and also do one final check of the venue after the party to make sure you didn’t leave something behind.
Break in the wedding shoes
Dance around the house. Walk in the kitchen. Do everything you can to avoid painful blisters on the wedding night.
Confirm details
Confirm details (date, time, location) with vendors. Make sure they know the name and phone number of your point person.
Beauty routine
Apply the moisturizer, put the face mask, use whitening strips – whatever goes into your pre-wedding beauty routine.
